This role serves as a strategic partner to organizational leadership to secure and manage funding that supports program growth, operational priorities, and long-term sustainability. The Grant Manager ensures compliance with all funding requirements while maximizing the effectiveness and impact of awarded funds.
Essential Functions:
Leads the identification, evaluation, and prioritization of grant opportunities aligned with organizational strategy and program needs Develops, writes, and submits high-quality grant proposals, including narratives, budgets, and supporting documentation Manages a portfolio of grants across the full lifecycle, from pre-award through post-award closeout Serves as the primary liaison with funding agencies, ensuring timely communication and relationship management Ensures full compliance with local, state, federal, and funder-specific requirements, including reporting and audit readiness Oversees preparation and submission of programmatic and financial reports in collaboration with finance and program teams Collaborates with leadership and department stakeholders to align grant funding with strategic priorities and operational goals Monitors grant-funded programs to ensure performance outcomes, deliverables, and timelines are met Develops, implements, and maintains grant management systems, processes, and tracking tools Provides guidance and subject matter expertise to internal stakeholders on grant-related processes and compliance requirements Supports development of a grant pipeline and funding strategy to drive long-term sustainability Performs other related duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or other related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in grant writing, grant development, and grant management.
Skills and Abilities:
Advanced knowledge of federal, state, and private funding sources, including regulatory and compliance requirements Strong expertise in grant writing, proposal development, and narrative strategy Ability to develop and manage complex grant budgets, including forecasting and financial reporting Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent grants and deadlines Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret financial and programmatic data Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management systems Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills Ability to build relationships and collaborate with executive leadership, finance, and operational teams High level of discretion and ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
