Location Requirement:
This position is based in Juneau, Alaska and requires full-time onsite work. Remote work will not be considered. Candidates must either reside in Juneau or be willing to relocate prior to their start date. Tlingit Haida Regional Housing Authority (THRHA) is seeking an experienced Grants Manager to lead grant development, administration, and compliance in support of housing and community development programs. This role is ideal for a strategic, detail‑oriented professional with strong grant writing skills and the ability to manage complex funding across the organization.ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW THRHA

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Grants Manager provides organization‑wide leadership in grants development, administration, and compliance. This position oversees the full grant lifecycle from funding research and proposal development to award management, reporting, and close-out while working closely with internal departments and external partners. Lead grant development efforts by identifying funding opportunities, preparing competitive grant proposals, and ensuring timely submissions aligned with THRHA's mission and strategic priorities. Oversee the administration of federal, state, and other grant programs, ensuring compliance with grantor requirements, program regulations, and internal policies. Collaborate with THRHA leadership, finance staff, program managers, and tribal partners to develop grant budgets, agreements, reports, and supporting documentation. Maintain accurate grant records and reporting systems, monitor grant performance, and support continuous improvement in grant management processes and outcomes.WHO YOU ARE A

Demonstrated experience in grant writing, grant administration, and compliance, preferably within housing, community development, or nonprofit environments. Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret grant requirements and translate them into clear applications and actionable program guidance. Knowledge of federal, state, and local grants, including budgeting, reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements. Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills, with strong attention to detail and documentation standards. Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, proposals, and formal correspondence.Minimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree in public administration, human services, or a related field. Four (4) years of progressively responsible administrative experience, including at least two (2) years in public housing programs, community development, or grant‑funded program management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.WHAT WE OFFER
