Required Experience:

Grant Lifecycle Expertise:

Proven success securing diverse grant portfolios (private foundations, federal agencies, or philanthropic) but not requireda primary focus on biotech and healthcare sectors ($1M+ preferred).

Strategic Teaming:

Demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between academic research and commercial industrial scaling.

Regulatory Literacy:

Experience managing proposals involving human trial readiness, IRB processes, or FDA clinical pathways (highly preferable, but not required).

Fiscal Oversight:

Establish and maintain robust financial controls to ensure all grant-funded infrastructure expenditures adhere strictly to sponsor requirements and remain audit-ready at all times.\"

Identify and curate a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and foundations dedicated to solving the organ transplant crisis. roposal

Partnership Orchestration:

Act as the primary liaison between Apex Bioworks and university tech-transfer offices to secure Letters of Support (LOS) and IP licensing agreements.

Fiscal Oversight:

Partner with our internal facilities team to ensure grant-funded infrastructure costs are auditable and strictly compliant with federal cost principles. Equity-based compensation commensurate with experience.
