Key Qualifications:

Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement required Experience in middle school special education settings strongly preferred Solid foundation in co-teaching models and differentiated instruction Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Co-teach ELA (up to three blocks) and math (up to two blocks) with partner teachers, creating an engaging and supportive classroom Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs Align lesson plans and assessments with state standards and IEP goals Foster an inclusive, positive environment that encourages student participation and growth Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and communication with parents and team members Attend school meetings and professional development as required This position starts at 7:45am and ends at 2:50pm daily, totaling 35 hours per week.
