This role ensures materials and products are properly tracked, stored, and distributed while helping prevent shortages, overstocking, and discrepancies. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory counts through daily updates and routine cycle counts Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and products Track and document inventory movements, adjustments, and transfers Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies Prepare and distribute inventory reports for supervisors and management Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to ensure stock availability Label, organize, and store inventory according to company procedures Assist with annual physical inventory and reconciliation Operate inventory management software or ERP systems Follow all safety, quality, and compliance standards Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience in inventory control or warehouse operations preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic math and data‑entry skills Familiarity with inventory software Ability to lift and move materials as needed Strong communication and problem‑solving skills Core Competencies Accuracy and attention to detail Organization and time management Team collaboration Analytical thinking Performance Metrics Inventory accuracy rate Timeliness of discrepancy resolution On‑time reporting Compliance with safety and handling procedures Tools & Equipment Used Barcode scanners Inventory management or ERP systems Excel or Google Sheets Pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified) Work Environment Warehouse or production setting Standing, walking, and lifting required May involve varying temperatures depending on facility
