Job Summary The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. This role works closely with drivers, carriers, and warehouse staff to maintain smooth dock activity while ensuring shipment accuracy and compliance with company procedures. Responsibilities Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with drivers and carriers Assign dock doors and direct drivers to designated loading and unloading areas Scan and verify inbound and outbound pallets using warehouse systems Accurately enter shipping, receiving, and inventory data into the computer system Prepare, process, and maintain shipping and receiving documentation Verify shipment quantities and inspect for damages or discrepancies Communicate with warehouse personnel to ensure efficient dock operations Schedule and monitor shipments as required Maintain organized shipping and receiving records Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures Assist with general warehouse and administrative duties as needed Requirements Previous shipping and receiving or warehouse clerk experience preferred Strong computer and data entry skills Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners is an asset Ability to accurately process shipping documents and inventory records Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed Steel toe boots required As part of onboarding, all Spotters complete a background check through our screening partner.
