Job Description

Your tasks The Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through scheduled and unscheduled cycle counts and audits. This role involves investigating and analyzing discrepancies, identifying root causes, and making necessary system adjustments. The Cycle Counter will also operate equipment to access inventory, maintain accurate records, and support overall warehouse operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform planned/unplanned cycle counts and audits: Execute scheduled and unscheduled inventory counts and audits in 511F and/or 511E areas to ensure accuracy.
Count tools and accessories:
Conduct thorough counts of tools and accessories within the Distribution Center to reconcile physical inventory with perpetual balances. Reconcile inventory discrepancies and adjust perpetual inventory: Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies through systems analysis and adjust perpetual inventory to actual counts within DLX and SAP systems. Address cycle count requests and perform assigned duties: Respond to emailed cycle count requests and complete all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Operate material handling equipment:
Utilize man-up, turret-truck, and forklift equipment to perform cycle counts or audits in storage and pick locations to verify inventory. Determine root causes and make adjustments: Identify root causes for inventory discrepancies and perform necessary WMS/SAP movements and adjustments.
Gather documentation and enter data:
Collect relevant documentation, prepare I.T.'s (Inventory Transfers/Transactions), and accurately enter data onto Excel spreadsheets. Your profile
Education and Skills:
High school diploma or GED Required Experience operating Man-Up, Cherry Picker, Forklift, and Turret Truck Prior experience in inventory management or cycle counting preferred Ability to complete daily tasks accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis Familiarity with RF units and WMS/SAP systems
Physical Requirements:
Ability to operate warehouse equipment and work at elevated heights Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as needed Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
Work Environment:
Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures Requires working at heights using warehouse equipment Fast-paced setting requiring attention to detail and accuracy
