The Green Coffee Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, and managing green coffee inventory to support roasting operations. This role operates and monitors the Green Handling System to ensure a consistent supply of materials meets production demands. The Green Coffee Handler works closely with Roasting, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments to maintain the efficient flow of materials throughout the facility while supporting a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the green coffee department.

Green Coffee Roasting Preparation- With direction from the roasters, stages green coffee in anticipation of the daily roasting needs, coordinating them to match the roasting list. Green Coffee Charging
- Under the direction of the roasters assists in loading the green coffee into the charger to load the roaster, understands the blend sheets. Stocking Green Coffee
- Replenishes forward coffee inventory locations on a daily basis. Unloads Coffee Shipments
- Assists in unloading green coffee shipments when needed. Performs general maintenance and cleaning activities as needed. These activities include but are not limited to the following: Roasting area and green storage area. Green Coffee Bag

- Under the guidance of the green coffee buyers assists in maintaining green coffee inventory area.
Work Environment/Conditions:
Continuous standing/walking in a warehouse environment throughout an 8-hour day or more. Push, pull, squat, bend and reach to stack, carry, lift and pick product throughout an 8-hour day or more. Lifting of 20 lbs., frequently lifting of 25-40 lbs. and occasionally lift 50 lbs or more. Stacking pallets and totes (20-50 lbs) up to 6 feet tall. Person in this position must be available to work weekends, nights, holidays, and overtime to fulfill business needs. Noise level in this warehouse environment is frequently loud. A strong coffee scent is continuously present in this warehouse environment.Qualifications:
Strong communication skills, including the ability to monitor email and communicate effectively via text throughout the shift. Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and digital equipment interfaces. Ability to read, understand, and accurately follow written instructions and procedures in English. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and regularly maneuver equipment or materials weighing up to 150 pounds. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, and ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and learn new processes and equipment. Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to company standards, policies, and procedures. Proficient in following and maintaining safety procedures and practices. Prior forklift experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age.
