Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse & Materials Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, staging, and distributing raw materials and finished products while maintaining a strong focus on safety, accuracy, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have solid forklift experience, be comfortable working independently, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Receive and verify incoming raw materials and finished goods, ensuring Bills of Lading (BOLs) and vendor documentation are accurate and complete. Safely load and unload inbound and outbound trucks using appropriate material-handling equipment. Stage and deliver raw materials to production areas in a timely and efficient manner. Operate finished-goods palletizers and transfer packaged products to designated warehouse or staging areas. Accurately pull and prepare orders using pick lists to meet production and customer schedules. Maintain proper inventory rotation using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures. Maintain accurate electronic and written records of material movements, quality checks, process information, deviations, and downtime. Follow company safety procedures, GMP requirements, food safety standards, and all applicable regulations. Assist with minor equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning as needed. Look for opportunities to improve safety, quality, and efficiency in daily operations. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Perform other duties as assigned by the Distribution Manager or Team Leader.
