Position Overview The Inventory & Vault Associate plays a key role in supporting our retail operations by ensuring inventory is received, organized, tracked, and replenished accurately and efficiently. Reporting to the Retail General Manager, this position helps maintain a secure and compliant vault while supporting inventory movement from receiving through the sales floor. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and accountability matter.
What You'll Do:
Receive, verify, label, and accurately enter incoming inventory while maintaining a clean, organized, and secure vault. Manage inventory movement by fulfilling sales floor requests, replenishing product, supporting transfers, and maintaining appropriate stock levels. Perform inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, monitor product quality, and ensure all inventory complies with Company policies and California DCC regulations. Support retail operations by maintaining product displays, pricing, online menu information, promotions, and assisting on the sales floor as business needs require. Utilize inventory systems to manage products, reports, counts, invoices, and other inventory-related processes. Work closely with the Inventory Supervisor, General Manager, Purchasing, and Retail teams to maintain efficient inventory operations and continuously improve processes. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Dependable, accountable, and able to work independently while collaborating with a team. Strong communication, computer, and basic math skills. Able to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative. Experience in inventory, warehouse, retail, or cannabis operations preferred. Experience with inventory management software (Treez, METRC) is a plus. Committed to following procedures and maintaining regulatory compliance. Must be at least 21 years of age and able to successfully complete a Live Scan background check required by the City of Cotati.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
Work is performed in a fast-paced retail cannabis environment with moderate noise levels. Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting. Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Frequent use of computers, inventory management systems, and standard office equipment. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support multiple areas of the operation as needed.
Compensation & Perks Pay:
