Irvine, CA Position Summary The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting the day-to-day flow of materials, components, tools, equipment, and finished products within an event charging manufacturing and warehouse operation. This position helps ensure that materials are properly received, identified, stored, counted, picked, and prepared for production or event deployment. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment where inventory accuracy and timely fulfillment are critical. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Receive incoming materials, components, supplies, and equipment and verify quantities against purchase orders, packing slips, or receiving documents. Inspect incoming inventory for visible damage, discrepancies, or missing items and report issues to management. Label, organize, and properly store inventory in designated warehouse locations. Maintain accurate inventory counts using company inventory systems, spreadsheets, scanners, or other tracking tools. Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits. Investigate inventory discrepancies and work with warehouse and operations personnel to resolve them. Pull and stage parts, materials, charging equipment, and other items required for manufacturing, assembly, events, or customer orders. Prepare materials and equipment for shipment, delivery, installation, or event deployment. Track items moving between warehouse, production, events, service, and other company locations. Maintain organized inventory locations and ensure products are stored safely and efficiently. Assist with returns, restocking, and inspection of equipment following events or customer use. Identify damaged, defective, obsolete, or excess inventory and report it to the appropriate supervisor. Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas in accordance with company safety procedures. Follow proper procedures for handling batteries, electrical components, charging equipment, tools, and other warehouse materials. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as needed. Support manufacturing and warehouse teams with other inventory-related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or logistics experience preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory or warehouse management software. Ability to read purchase orders, packing slips, product labels, and inventory documentation. Good organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team. Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential. Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus. Experience working with electrical equipment, batteries, EV charging equipment, or event production is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday. Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull warehouse materials and equipment. Ability to lift up to approximately 50 pounds, with assistance for heavier items when required. Ability to bend, reach, squat, climb stairs or ladders, and work safely in a warehouse environment. Ability to work around moving equipment, loading areas, and active manufacturing operations while following all safety procedures. Work Environment This position works primarily in a warehouse/manufacturing environment and may occasionally support outdoor events, deliveries, or equipment deployment. The position may involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise, dust, and active warehouse and manufacturing operations.
Schedule & Compensation Pay:
$20-30 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
30-40 hours per week Occasional overtime, early starts, late shifts, weekends, or event-related hours may be required based on business needs. Success in This Role A successful Inventory Clerk will maintain highly accurate inventory records, keep warehouse locations organized, minimize inventory discrepancies, and ensure that the right materials and equipment are available when production, events, or customers need them.
