Job Description

Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a dependable and organized Tool Crib Attendant for a plastic fabrication company located in La Verne, CA. The Tool Crib Attendant will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's tools, equipment, supplies, and inventory. This position will work closely with the Production and Maintenance teams to ensure tools and materials are properly organized, readily available, and accurately tracked. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and previous experience working in a tool room, warehouse, inventory, or manufacturing environment. Reliability, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting are important for success in this role.
Pay:
$24.00 Key Responsibilities Issue and receive tools, equipment, and supplies for production and maintenance employees Maintain accurate records of tools and equipment that are checked out and returned Organize, label, and maintain the tool crib to ensure items are easy to locate Monitor inventory levels and identify items that need to be reordered or replaced Inspect returned tools and equipment for damage, wear, or missing parts Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits Maintain accurate inventory records using computer systems and/or Excel Track and report missing, damaged, or worn tools and equipment Assist with ordering tools, maintenance supplies, and other materials as needed Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Purchasing departments Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all company safety procedures and policies Perform additional warehouse, inventory, and material-handling duties as needed Qualifications Previous experience in a tool crib, warehouse, inventory, or manufacturing environment preferred Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment Strong organizational and record-keeping skills Basic computer and Excel skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to keep track of multiple tools and inventory items Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to lift and move tools and materials as needed Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, dependable, and safety-conscious Manufacturing or plastic fabrication experience is a plus About Specialized Recruiting Group Specialized Recruiting Group takes an individualized approach to professional placement, providing personalized service tailored to both clients and candidates.
