Full Job Description Johnson Service Group is looking for an Inventory Control Clerk for one of our contract manufacturing clients in San Jose. This person is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, reconciling system and physical inventory records, and identifying root causes of inventory discrepancies.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accuracy of material counts, locations, and transactions between warehouse and manufacturing. Reconcile inventory discrepancies and resolve transaction errors in SAP/ERP systems. Monitor and report shortages, material variances, and root causes. Ensure materials are returned to proper stock locations after manufacturing use. Support kit release processes and act as a liaison between warehouse and factory teams. Monitor KOGI metrics and ensure timely resolution of open issues. Work with SAP operations to resolve transaction errors (1062, 1000, 8000, 0001). Track and report inventory transaction delays and process improvements. Develop processes to improve kit pull accuracy and material control. Prepare reports and maintain accurate inventory documentation. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years of material handling, inventory control, or warehouse experience preferred. Experience with SAP and ERP systems required. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze data, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively. Ability to lift heavy items and work in a warehouse environment.
