Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stocker to join our team. As a Stocker, you will be responsible for ensuring the shelves are properly stocked and organized, assisting customers with their inquiries, and maintaining inventory control. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and unload merchandise from delivery trucks
• Stock shelves and display areas with products
• Ensure products are properly labeled and priced
• Rotate stock to maintain freshness and minimize waste
• Assist customers with locating products and answering inquiries
• Operate RF scanner to track inventory levels accurately
• Perform regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom and sales floor

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills to assist customers effectively
• Ability to sell products by providing recommendations and upselling opportunities
• Proficient in retail math for pricing and inventory calculations
• Capable of heavy lifting and carrying items up to [insert weight limit]
• Knowledge of produce handling and storage guidelines (if applicable)
• Familiarity with using an RF scanner for inventory management
• Strong attention to detail for accurate inventory control
• Multilingual abilities are a plus for assisting diverse customer base
