Job Description

Our client, a 3rd party logistics company is looking to hire an Inventory Control Clerk - Auditor for their location in New Castle, DE. The ideal candidate would need to be someone who works well independently as well as collaboratively the your team. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
The Day-to-Day:
Inspect containers utilizing our safety inspection sheets. Verify the weights of pallets, pallet numbers, and shipment weights for compliance. Inspects rebuilt pallets for accuracy based on our pallet preparation for container shipment training documents. Verify the rebuilt pallet inventory count for accuracy. Accurately select shipment numbers for loads to be shipped out. Accurately receive loads and ensure the product is stored properly. Hold operators and material handlers accountable based on our company SOP. Make sure pallets are staged in the proper staging lane for inventory count accuracy. Calibrates and Validates forklift scales daily to ensure accuracy of forklift scales. Verifies assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation. Completes audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings. Communicates audit findings by preparing a final report and discussing findings with auditees. Protects assets by ensuring compliance with internal control procedures and regulations.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to perform inventory counts accurately at all times. Computer skills
Pay Rate/Shifts:
$18.00 /hr Monday to Friday 10:00 AM to 6:30
