Job Description

JOB TITLE
Inventory Associate
JOB SUMMARY
This role is responsible for maintaining daily inventory activities. Must have knowledge of manufacturing, inventory, and supply chain management.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of experience in manufacturing, inventory, and supply chain management At least 1 year of experience as an inventory associate or relevant role Must be able to sit, stand, climb stairs, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
PREFERRED SKILLS
Excellent foresight and communication skills, both written and verbal Strong critical thinking skills Strong planning and organizational skills Ability to work independently Forklift certified
CORE DUTIES
Precisely record each incoming and outgoing shipment Issue components to production floor as needed Laser components as needed Assist with loading and unloading trucks and make sure that each shipment reaches its proper destination within the warehouse Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with Purchaser to rectify damages and shortages Sub-assemble production items as needed, dictated by inventory manager or lead Maintain inventory of web store shipping materials and supplies Pick and pack web store orders as necessary Participate in monthly cycle counts, semi-annual inventory, and other counting duties as needed Participate in stockroom maintenance, organization, and housekeeping Assist in shipping as needed, folding boxes and cleaning guns Additional duties as assigned by the Inventory Manager or Lead HOURS 1st shift position Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen. Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
