DESCRIPTION
Our company is currently seeking a Parts Inventory Control employee. The position offered is a
FULL TIME
position that includes competitive compensation, paid vacations, paid sick time and insurance benefits. We are a small business serving the community for over 30 years. We need someone who is career oriented and willing to learn to grow within our company. If you accept a position you must be willing and able to work Full Time (40 hours a week) & have reliable transportation to work .
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires a high school diploma. 1-2 years previous experience with inventory management and source parts purchasing. Computer skills are necessary to process inventory reports, inventory adjustments and cycle counts. The candidate must have the ability to speak, write and read English fluently. Candidates must possess excellent customer service, attention to detail and organizational skills. Lifting 30 pounds and less may be required.
Responsibilities:
Ability to assemble and ship customer orders when needed according to policies in place. Responsible for inventory management-identifying obsolete inventory, identifying inventory inconsistencies, conducts daily/weekly cycle counts to ensure the integrity of our inventory, order inventory based on past customer ordering trends, receive inventory into our accounting computer system while checking for accuracy of items shipped by vendor. Perform follow-up on back orders, expedite delivery of orders and make delivery arrangements . Work schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch. Major holidays off with pay. No nights, weekends or overtime.
