ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

including but not limited to the following: Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer, identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas. Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions. Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, price lists, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used or issued. Conduct physical inventory, verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors. Use forklift to receive and deliver freight, pulling consumables and delivering parts. Projects for other departments and various material control functions as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

High school education or more preferred; or at least three years related stockroom clerk experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
