With more than 800 products, Iberia Foods has a solid position as the definitive connection to the Caribbean and Latin American cuisine. We are seeking an Inventory Control to join our team in Miami ! The Inventory Control Specialist manages inventory in our warehouses which will minimize the cost of filling customer orders and regulates inventory from a count and quality standpoint. Pay is $19-$21 per hour commensurate with experience.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Sets up rotation of bulk storage area Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts (cycle counting) and creates inventory documentation. Daily cycle counting Set up bulk area rotating with FIFO Reviewing inventory fulfillment from purchasing department Reconciling/validating physical inventory to computer system, analyzing variances Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery. Provides inventory reports to management Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates upgrades to related database and/or software under the direction of manager. Investigates, analyzes root causes Watch short date overstock Monitoring and enforcing security measures to prevent inventory shrinkage Operates forklift truck when necessary Controlling KPI's or order selectors Spot checks for accuracy Monitoring inbound making sure containers are received/returned in a timely fashion to avoid demurrages/per diem.
