Role Purpose Statement Responsible for supporting daily materials and inventory operations by tracking stock levels, placing orders for needed products, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring materials are available to support production and operational needs. This role works closely with suppliers, warehouse teams, and management to maintain product availability and inventory accuracy. Location- SkyChefs ATL Eastpoint Near ATL Airport Work Setting - Onsite Main Accountabilities Monitor inventory levels and identify products that need to be replenished. Place orders for food products and supplies based on inventory needs, usage trends, and delivery schedules. Enter and maintain purchase orders in the inventory management system. Verify deliveries, invoices, and system records to ensure accuracy. Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts and stock audits. Track product shortages, overages, and stock issues and communicate concerns to management. Coordinate with suppliers regarding order issues, delivery concerns, and pricing discrepancies. Maintain accurate product, supplier, and location information within company systems. Support inventory control efforts to achieve inventory and Days on Hand (DOH) goals. Assist warehouse, materials, and operations teams with projects and daily operational needs. Perform general clerical and administrative duties related to inventory and materials management. Complete other duties as assigned by management. Knowledge, Skills and Experience High school diploma or GED required. One to three years of experience in inventory control, warehouse administration, materials coordination, data entry, purchasing support, or clerical operations. Experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, food production, airline catering, distribution, or logistics environment preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment with changing priorities. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications. Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems preferred (SAP experience is a plus). Strong communication and teamwork skills.
