Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inbound Clerk to join our warehouse team. In this key position, you will be responsible for processing inbound shipments efficiently, ensuring accuracy in documentation, and supporting day-to-day operations related to receiving and inventory control. Compensation & Schedule:

Pay rate: $19.50 per hour

Shift:

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Flexible work schedule may be required based on operational demands.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately process all incoming shipments and verify related documents (shipping papers, return authorizations, bills of lading). Update inventory records and maintain accurate transactions in WMS/ERP systems. Coordinate with carriers, schedule deliveries, and assist with dock scheduling. Communicate effectively with warehouse associates, supervisors, and transportation partners to ensure a smooth flow of inbound goods. Monitor warehouse dock activities and ensure compliance with company safety standards. Investigate and help resolve discrepancies related to inventory or damaged goods. Maintain thorough documentation and prepare daily operation reports.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, receiving, or a related field preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), SAP, or similar inventory systems is an advantage. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication skills and a commitment to customer service. Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work both independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of warehouse equipment or forklift experience is a plus.

Work Environment:

Combination of warehouse and office settings. Must be able to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. Flexible work schedule as required by operational demands. Steel-toe shoes are required at all times while working in the warehouse. How to
