You Because:
The Inventory Control Clerk II role is responsible for training and mentoring team members and assisting with operational improvements, in addition to working as part of a team to ensure warehouse inventory accuracy through the use of cycle counts and other auditing procedures. You are able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and problem-solve effectively to reconcile and issues/discrepancies contributing positively to the accuracy and maintenance of inventory records. You also have strong organizational skills and a focus on maintaining high standards by contributing to the training of new hires and existing team members to help improve distribution center operations, accuracy and effectiveness. A Day in theLife:
The typical day is… atypical. You may… Train team members (new hires, existing team members, contractors, etc.)- providing guidance on best practices, equipment/system usage, and safety procedures Assess gaps in execution to ensure training is tailored to positively improve team member's performance Conduct daily scheduled cycle counts and audits using RF devices and manual tracking sheets Maintain clear, concise and detailed records of all counting activities Provide inventory information and if needed, adjust based on physical verification and WM research Analyze inventory discrepancies by researching variances using multiple data points and identifying root cause by formulating recommendations for improvement of inventory accuracy.
To Land This Role:
High School Diploma or GED 1.5+ years of related experience in a distribution environment Experience utilizing various types of warehouse equipment and systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Excellent oral and written communication skills Must have English proficiency (speaking and understanding) Basic math skills are required to understand location quantities, thresholds and capacity Strong organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for investigating discrepancies Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish, maintain, and leverage professional relationships to provide tailored and substantive support with a positive demeanor, always maintaining professionalism Able to lift items up to 35 lbs Able to actively walk the warehouse floor; and stand for extended periods up to 12 hours Must be willing to work overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays Why You'll Want toJoin Our Team:
