Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
This is a finance position that is responsible for salvaging, recouping and repacking products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assess and sort all damaged products for recouping. Collaborate directly with warehouse management to control shrink. Cooperate indirectly with merchandising to ensure proper packaging from vendors. Assist with developing a reconciliation program. Work with inventory control to assist in reducing company shrink. Keep the area clean and neat at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent preferred. Experience 1-3 months of related warehouse distribution experience preferred. Requirements 18+ years of age Pass employment testing Professional Skills Able to read, write and communicate effectively, as it relates to the job and the safety regulations. Can read a limited number of two and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Able to print and speak simple sentences. Strong mathematical skills. Computer skills. Capable of applying common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to handle, feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. Must regularly lift and/or move 20-40 pounds, and occasionally lift 50-80 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
