Job Description

Job Summary The Count Room Mid-Shift Technician is responsible for supporting daily Count Room operations, including intaking assets, processing, transaction verification, inventory preparation, vault balancing, vehicle loading and unloading, and end-of-day activities. This position provides additional coverage during the mid-shift and helps ensure the operations are completed accurately, securely and efficiently. Duties Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes Perform end-of-day inventory preparation and assist with private inventory Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations Balance vault daily and assist with tracking and reporting cash overages and shortages Support the department employees in daily workload and operational needs Provide coverage for designated responsibilities, including lock-up procedures. Clean and maintain department equipment and work areas Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records. Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications Assist with bank deposits and complete required supporting documentation Assist in tracking cash over/shorts Assist in maintaining fleet vehicles including cleanliness, routine audits, reporting vehicle damage, maintenance concerns, and upcoming service needs Assist with service for spare keys, cans, and hand pays Load and unload the vehicles Skills Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret various forms of information Strong attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills Strong mathematical and basic reconciliation skills Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate records Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive financial information Dependable attendance and ability to work the assigned mid-shift Previous cash handling, banking, accounting, warehouse, gaming, or related experience Detail-oriented Demonstrated ability to work in a confidential environment Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record High School diploma or equivalent
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
