In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory control, and supporting seamless warehouse operations. Duties Load and unload trucks using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), RF scanners, and other handling tools to ensure safe and efficient transfer of goods. Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using inventory management software and data entry systems to ensure accuracy. Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and organizing products for delivery or transfer to distribution centers. Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities through ERP systems like AS400 or similar inventory management software. Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management tasks to support warehouse distribution goals. Ensure compliance with trade regulations and shipping logistics standards for domestic and international shipments. Support warehouse operations by stocking shelves, organizing storage areas, and assisting with order fulfillment processes. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to optimize order picking & packing processes, improve workflow efficiency, and uphold customer service standards. Assist in maintaining a clean, safe work environment by following safety procedures during load & unload activities. Experience Previous experience working in a warehouse environment or logistics setting is highly preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems (such as AS400), and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order processing and inventory counts. Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, or other warehouse handling equipment is desirable; certification is a plus. Strong data entry skills combined with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to support documentation tasks. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and order accuracy. Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining high safety standards. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and logistics best practices is beneficial.
