This position will manage and track inventory levels, communicate issues, and ensure accurate recordkeeping. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with other departments. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee inventory and notify buyers of shortages or damage of incoming products or materials.
  • Communication of any issues or discrepancies to affected departments (i.e Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Accounting) so they can make accommodations or adjustments accordingly.
  • Control inventories of raw materials and finished goods to ensure that product availability meets demands.
  • Develop and prepare reporting of inventory control results and activities as required by manager.
  • Responsible for inventory cycle counting.
  • Conduct frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
  • Support departments in the resolution of any inventory discrepancy.
  • Participate in end of year (EOY) physical inventory audit.
  • Monitor inventory levels daily and notify the purchasing department when stock is low or overstocked.
  • Timely and accurate check the inventory of raw materials, packaging, chemicals, and components.
  • Maintain and enter accurate data into inventory systems in order to have precise information regarding quantities on hand to ensure production continues.
  • Follow proper documentation procedures in accordance with Hydrox Labs requirements and other company procedures.
  • Assist in Shipping and / or receiving before or after completion of inventory functions as assigned. This may vary depending on department / plant needs.
  • Conduct Inventory variance review, research, and explanations as needed of any inventory issues. Also, follow-up on findings of that research as corrective actions where appropriate.
  • Conduct frequent inventory audits and reconciliation of physical stock to database records.
  • Compile, provide and maintain reports as required or requested by the other departments.
  • Report, maintain and distribute daily inventory report.
  • Verify actual product received against initial PO and BOL. Confirm integrity of product and notify management as necessary.
  • Assist in maintaining receiving logs and verify products meet specifications
  • Investigate discrepancies and report any inventory shrinkage or losses.
  • Monitor product shelf life and ensure that expired or damaged goods are identified and properly disposed of.
  • Ensure that inventory is stored in compliance with company and regulatory safety standards. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
  • Ability to learn or use a forklift and pallet jack Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • 1+ years of experience in an inventory position Working Condition The Inventory Associate works in an FDA-regulated chemical manufacturing and packaging company and performs duties across office, warehouse, and production environments.
The position involves standing and walking for extended periods, performing routine inventory tasks, and operating warehouse equipment. Occasional lifting of items weighing up to 40 lbs is required. The work environment may include exposure to chemical products, packaging materials, and typical warehouse and production conditions. Employees must adhere to all safety protocols, use required personal protective equipment (PPE), and comply with FDA regulations.
