Verify product quantities, item numbers, and warehouse locations. Research and resolve inventory discrepancies. Track inventory movement and adjustments. Locate and investigate missing, damaged, or misplaced product. Ensure inventory is properly labeled and stored in the correct location. Maintain accurate inventory documentation and records. Communicate inventory issues to supervisors and appropriate warehouse personnel. Assist with physical inventory and scheduled inventory audits. Work closely with warehouse associates and leadership to maintain inventory accuracy. Follow all GEODIS safety, security, quality, and operational procedures. Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position. Experience Requirements Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Commitment to quality, safety, professionalism, and dependable attendance. Ability to learn new processes, procedures, equipment, or software as required. Should be able to lift up to 50 lbs Basic computer and data-entry skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and communication skills. Ability to investigate problems and identify discrepancies. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical warehouse activities. Must be able to follow safety procedures and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a related industry or similar position is preferred. Experience working in fast-paced, customer-focused, manufacturing, warehouse, administrative, or professional environments is beneficial depending on the assignment. Relevant certifications, technical training, or specialized skills are considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are well positioned for success as a Inventory Clerk. RF Scanner experience preferred but not required Previous warehouse, inventory, logistics, or distribution experience preferred but not required Experience using a WMS or inventory management system is preferred but not required Physical Capabilities Physical requirements vary by assignment and will be discussed during the hiring process. Candidates should be able to safely perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
