Full Job Description Shift:
2nd shift 2:00pm - 10:00pm, or hybrid 4:00pm - Midnight, Mon-Fri, some Saturday work required.
Pay:
$21.50
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for accurately weighing-up charges to be melted, accounting for the inventory transactions made on the job, moving and locating revert and raw material to proper locations, and assisting warehouse department in any task that is needed.
Essential Functions:
  • Accurately weigh out raw material and revert powder into atomization charges
  • Accurately identify raw materials and revert powder and store securely in proper bin locations
  • Weigh out addendums as issued by laboratory.
  • Make proper computer entries to issue, move or adjust revert powder in inventory
  • Closely follow melt schedule to keep charges in front of tower at all times Typical duties and tasks:
  • Regular attendance
  • Use of computer to locate material, move material location and relieve inventory
  • Assemble charges and deliver to proper production areas
  • Daily 5S tasks related to warehouse cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to operate forklifts, work saver and weighing equipment
  • Familiary with QS/ISO procedures
  • Ability to work with hand tools, packaging, and wrapping equipment
  • Six months+ working in warehouse environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively and follow written and oral instructions

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted; up to 100 pounds with mechanical assist
  • Ability to adjust schedule and work hours as dictated by production demands, including overtime
  • Constant standing; frequent climbing on stairs/ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, grasping, feeling
  • Visual acuity necessary to inspect and identify raw materials
  • Subject to noise, vibration, moving parts, moving vehicles, dust, odors
  • Ability to work alone, make judgments, attain tolerances
PPE Required:
steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, PAPPR, overhead hoists, powered industrial trucks, and other material handling devices/equipment
  • Must be able to pass a pre-pulmonary breathing test.
