Order Fulfillment Simply Driven Indianapolis, IN Job Details Full-time $18 an hour 10 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Packing Forklift High school diploma or GED Warehouse experience Computer skills Materials handling Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description Position Summary Order Fulfillment is an entry-level warehouse role responsible for supporting inventory replenishment activities and processing late afternoon and evening customer orders. This position ensures pick locations remain stocked, inventory is accurately moved throughout the warehouse, and urgent orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. The role follows established procedures, prioritizes safety and quality, and contributes to efficient warehouse operations in a fast-paced fulfillment environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Replenishment Operations Replenish forward pick locations from reserve inventory according to system-generated tasks and operational priorities. Move inventory safely and accurately throughout the warehouse using approved equipment and procedures. Verify product identity, quantity, lot numbers, and location information during replenishment activities. Maintain location integrity by ensuring inventory is stored in designated locations. Report inventory discrepancies, damaged product, or location issues to leadership. Rush Order Fulfillment Pick, pack, stage, and prepare late afternoon and evening customer orders for shipment. Prioritize urgent and same-day orders to support customer service requirements and shipping deadlines. Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to complete fulfillment transactions accurately. Ensure orders are processed in accordance with quality standards, customer requirements, and work instructions. Assist with carrier cut-off preparation and end-of-day shipping activities. Inventory Accuracy & Quality Follow ISO and internal quality procedures related to inventory handling and order fulfillment. Perform inventory verification and assist with cycle counts as assigned. Identify and report shortages, overages, damaged product, or other inventory concerns. Maintain accurate inventory transactions and documentation within warehouse systems. Safety & Housekeeping Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with training and certification requirements. Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures. Maintain clean, organized work areas and keep aisles, staging areas, and replenishment zones free of hazards. Participate in safety initiatives and report unsafe conditions immediately. Required Education, Skills, and Experience High school diploma or GED required. Prior warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, or distribution experience preferred but not required. Basic computer and RF scanner skills or the ability to learn warehouse systems. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently while following established procedures. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds with reasonable accommodation. Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift. Ability to operate powered industrial equipment as trained and certified. Comfortable working at heights, if required. Work Environment Warehouse environment with non-controlled temperatures. Exposure to powered industrial equipment, conveyor systems, and warehouse noise. Frequent material handling, inventory movement, and order processing activities.
