Position Summary:
You will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory levels, ensuring stock accuracy. This role involves conducting regular cycle counts, resolving discrepancies, optimizing inventory processes, and supporting data accuracy. Scheduled hours for this 1st shift position are 6:30 AM- 3:00 PM, Monday
- Friday.
Overtime Notice:
Overtime may be required and can be scheduled before and/or after regular weekday shifts, as well as on weekends. Overtime may be voluntary or mandatory, depending on business needs.Job Responsibilities:
Cycle Counting:
Conduct regular and systematic cycle counts of inventory to ensure accuracy and consistency. Reconcile cycle count discrepancies and investigate causes of inventory variances. Resolve discrepancies from cycle counts by investigating and addressing the root causes.Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels to detect potential shortages or overages. Collaborate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.Data Analysis and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, adjustments, and counts.Process Improvement:
Identify and implement best practices for inventory control and cycle counting processes.Compliance and Safety:
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management. Promote and ensure compliance with safety protocols in the handling and storage of inventory. Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or production manager to support the team and ensure efficient operations. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills.Education & Experience:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or related roles.Work Environment:
Production facility setting. Must wear required PPE while in all manufacturing areas. Moving parts and machinery are present in the plant. Noise levels will vary, higher noise levels exist while in the plant operations areas. Physi calDemands:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to frequently lift up to 50lbs over an entire shift. Ability to physically perform repetitive motions of grasping, lifting, pulling, pushing, crouching, kneeling, and reaching. Ability to work in a hot, humid environment when performing sanitation tasks. Ability to use knives to cut open bags and dump 50lb bags at a high frequency.What We Offer:
