This is a Full Time Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30 position The Materials Management Distribution Clerk is responsible for receiving, organizing, stocking, and distributing medical and non-medical supplies throughout the organization. This position helps maintain inventory accuracy, ensures departments have the supplies they need, processes stock requests and returns, and supports daily mail distribution. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Receive, stock, and distribute supplies throughout the hospital. Maintain inventory levels in the stockroom and designated department supply locations. Organize and rotate inventory to ensure proper stock management and product usage. Remove outdated or expired supplies and assist with inventory adjustments. Process department stock requests, returns, and inventory transactions through Meditech. Respond to staff supply requests in a timely and professional manner. Recommend inventory and par level adjustments as needed. Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom. Complete daily mailroom functions and deliveries throughout the organization. Collaborate with Materials Management staff and other departments to meet operational needs. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualificatons High school diploma or GED required. Previous inventory, warehouse, stockroom, distribution, or supply chain experience preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management software. Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing needs. Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Frequent use of hands for handling and moving supplies. Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds regularly. Ability to safely maneuver inventory carts and materials throughout the facility. Requires close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to focus
