This role will support receiving, organizing, locating, and preparing materials while assisting with daily fulfillment needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, comfortable staying active, and enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Position Summary In this role, the Inventory Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting efficient warehouse operations. This role ensures inventory is received, stored, tracked, and distributed accurately while supporting order fulfillment, stock organization, and inventory control processes. The Inventory Associate plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and a safe, organized warehouse environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy. Organize inventory within the warehouse according to established procedures. Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels. Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies, shortages, and overages Ensure inventory is properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible. Collaborate with warehouse, operations, and purchasing teams to support inventory management processes. Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, and all other heavy machinery as deemed necessary by management in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company policies and safety procedures. Support continuous improvement efforts related to inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
Skills and Requirements:
Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, logistics, or a related field preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer proficiency and experience using inventory management systems. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Forklift, reach truck, and order picker certification preferred or ability to obtain certification. Commitment to accuracy, safety, and operational excellence. Dependable with strong time management skills Working Conditions This position works in a warehouse environment with regular exposure to moving equipment, varying temperatures, noise and physical activity associated with warehouse operations. The Inventory Associate is scheduled to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Overtime, including extended hours and occasional weekends, may be required based on business needs and as determined by management. The position may require standing, walking, bending, lifting, and operating warehouse equipment for extended periods of time.
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
