Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Kitter for our Assembly Department to assemble kits according to project or production requirements. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting our operations by preparing kits for our Assembly department.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick and prepare materials/components for kitting based on bills of materials (BOMs) or work orders. Assemble kits accurately and efficiently, ensuring all required components are included. Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of materials. Identify and report damaged or obsolete inventory. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the storage area.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training preferred. 1-3 years of experience in inventory, kitting, warehousing, or a related role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Familiarity with inventory control systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Fishbowl, etc.). Basic understanding of kitting and bill of materials processes. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods. Forklift certification (preferred but not required). Excellent time management and communication. Problem-solving mindset. Team player with the ability to work independently. Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Word, inventory software).
