Job Description

SUMMARY An Inventory Assistant is responsible for his/her respective inventory storage location. During racing, an Inventory Assistant will be expected to supply employees with product requests and maintain the appropriate administrative documents that assist in the tracking of all Food & Beverage items. These documents include transfer sheets that show when/where product is moved.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Supply requested product to employees. Maintain product transfer sheets. Input transfer data into inventory system. Assist in developing/executing inventory controls for all Food & Beverage items. Troubleshoot when physical counts do not match reports. Assist Purchasing Manager with other duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Previous experience in the Food & Beverage industry is a plus. Background in accounting with inventory control experience is a plus. Experience in an administrative/office type setting. Available to work a schedule based upon business needs including weekends during live race meets in April and October. Ability to communicate effectively with other employees. Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently. Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate. Strong team player. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High school education; one or more years' related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Analytical skills for issue resolving. Computer skills - MS Excel & Windows preferred.
