The Role We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Material Coordinator to lead our efforts in Louisville, KY. This role is responsible for accurate systems and warehouse inventory. The ideal candidate is an innovative, data-driven leader with a passion for learning and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth. What You'll Do Monitor inventory levels by running and validating required reports each shift. Enter all discrepancies into inventory system and maintain records to standards. Enter receipts as directed. Perform cycle counts as required. Communicate all supply issues to suppliers and escalate all supply risks to the appropriate internal groups in a timely manner. Follow visual min/max procedures and communicate min violations as required. Pull inventory as required and administer all inbound/outbound expedite activity, as needed. Assist in plant-wide inventory activities, as required Document activities as required, adhere to company guidelines and ensure employee safety. Who You Are Associate degree or equivalent combination of experience and education. 1-3 years of applied experience in the materials department or manufacturing department, preferable automotive or JIT. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel). Strong written and verbal communications skills, with a strong attention to detail, follow up and follow through and ability to perform time sensitive assignments. Able to maintain confidential information. Health, Safety, Physical & Travel Requirements Normal amount of sitting and standing, average mobility to move around an office and plant environment, able to conduct normal amount of work on a computer.
