This role focuses on maintaining reliable stock records, assisting production environments, and helping ensure company assets are properly counted and documented. Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory levels for materials and components used in assembly line operations and record movements accurately.
- Maintain up-to-date stock records by tracking receipts, usage, transfers, and adjustments across inventory locations.
- Conduct routine asset counts and verify physical inventory against system records to identify discrepancies.
- Support annual physical inventory activities by preparing count areas, documenting results, and assisting with reconciliation.
- Review inventory variances, investigate causes of mismatched counts, and report findings to the appropriate team members.
- Organize inventory storage areas to improve accessibility, accuracy, and control of materials and equipment.
- Coordinate with production and warehouse personnel to ensure parts and supplies are available when needed.
- Prepare inventory-related reports and maintain documentation that supports audits and ongoing inventory accuracy. Requirements
- Experience performing inventory control, stock tracking, or related materials management work.
- Ability to support assembly line environments and manage inventory tied to production activity.
- Knowledge of asset inventory practices, cycle counts, and physical inventory procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
- Comfortable using inventory systems, spreadsheets, or related tools for documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with operations or warehouse teams.
- Capable of lifting, moving, and organizing inventory items as required in a warehouse or production setting.
