•4pm to 2:30pm There is a one-dollar differential for 2nd shift. 1st Shift Shift Differential 2nd Shift General Labor $ 20.50 $ 1.00 $ 21.50 ICQA / Problem Solve $21.00 $ 1.00 $ 22.00 MHE Driver $ 22.00 $ 1.00 $ 23.00 Lead $ 23.00 $ 1.00 $ 24.00 Job Description Position Summary The Inventory & Quality Control Clerk (ICQA) is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of inventory within the warehouse. This role performs inventory audits, cycle counts, investigations, and quality assurance activities to identify discrepancies, validate inventory accuracy, and support operational excellence. The ICQA Clerk works closely with operations teams to analyze inventory issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring defects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain inventory accuracy and integrity throughout the facility.
Conduct daily, weekly, and ad hoc cycle counts to validate inventory records.
Perform inventory audits and physical inventory reconciliations.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and identify root causes.
Validate cycle count results and ensure timely resolution of inventory variances.
Monitor inventory movements and transactions across warehouse management systems.
Generate inventory and quality control reports for management review.
Identify inventory defects, errors, and process gaps and provide recommendations for corrective action.
Conduct detailed data analysis and inventory "deep dives" to support operational improvements.
Support inventory adjustment processes in accordance with established procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation of inventory investigations and corrective actions.
Assist with quality inspections and validation of warehouse processes.
Collaborate with Operations, Receiving, Shipping, and Inventory teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, as required.
Train and mentor associates on inventory control processes, cycle counting procedures, and best practices.
Follow all company safety policies and operational procedures.
Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities; however, the employee may provide training, guidance, and operational support to associates on inventory control activities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse operations.
Experience performing cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliations.
Ability to identify inventory defects and determine root causes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interpret data and investigate complex inventory discrepancies.
Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking systems.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
Strong listening, comprehension, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced cycle count and cycle count validation experience.
Previous ICQA, inventory control, or quality assurance experience within a distribution or warehouse environment.
Experience conducting inventory investigations and root cause analysis.
Knowledge of inventory defect prevention and process improvement methodologies.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED required.
One to two years of inventory control, warehouse operations, quality control, or related experience required.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification.
