An Inventory Associate monitors warehouse inventory and places orders with vendors for supplies. Conducts regular or occasional audits of inventory or sections of a warehouse.

The Inventory Technician plays a critical behind-the-scenes role in ensuring inventory accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all systems and physical storage areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory & Compliance Operations Receive, intake, and verify all incoming product shipments for accuracy and compliance Accurately enter and manage inventory in systems such as Dutchie and METRC Create and maintain product masters, ensuring correct product data and categorization Ensure all products are properly labeled, barcoded, and compliant with CCC regulations Maintain accurate tracking of all inventory movements (vault, storage, and internal transfers) Conduct routine cycle counts and support full inventory audits Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts and system records Maintain strict adherence to all Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) regulations Vault & Back-of-House Organization Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient vault and storage system Manage backstock, overstock consolidation, and product rotation (FIFO) Prepare product for sale (labeling, stickering, packaging checks) Ensure all products have correct METRC tags and documentation Support inventory readiness for audits and inspections Inventory Systems & Accuracy Perform inventory adjustments and transfers in compliance with company procedures Update lab results, COAs, and product details as needed Monitor product expiration dates and assist with waste processes Execute compliant destruction and waste logging procedures Support menu accuracy by ensuring inventory aligns with digital systems Team & Operational Support Collaborate with Inventory Leads and Management to improve processes and efficiency Support audit preparation and execution Communicate inventory issues, risks, or discrepancies proactively Participate in trainings and stay up to date on compliance requirements While this role is primarily back-of-house focused, we operate as one team. All team members are expected to step in and support store operations as needed, including assisting the sales floor when requested by the Manager on Duty (MOD).

REQUIREMENTS / PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience in retail, inventory, or fulfillment environments preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Must be 21+ and able to pass an extensive background check MA Agent Card eligible Familiarity with Dutchie, METRC, and cannabis compliance a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, move, and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform general cleaning tasks Ability to be in a temperature controlled environment for an extended period of time Regular and on-time attendance
