Senior Inventory Associate (Cannabis) Seed - 4.1 Somerville, MA Job Details Full-time $19 - $22 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Health savings account Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Employee discount Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Seed is currently seeking an experienced, passionate and detail-oriented Senior Inventory Specialist to assist in all dispensary inventory and fulfillment activities. With a strong focus on standard operating procedures, compliance and efficiency, you will be responsible for assisting with the dispensary's inventory and counts of all items in stock as well as the accurate fulfillment of orders for the dispensary. The person will report to the Assistant General Manager of the dispensary. About Seed We are planting a new Seed in Somerville MA! Seed is pleased to be one of the first locally permitted establishments in the City of Boston and we continue to grow! In early 2021, Seed opened a high-end retail cannabis establishment and social justice cannabis museum in Jamaica Plain. We are expaning into Somerville and hope to be an important part of the community. Seed offers guests a wide range of products and is an avid supporter of the communities in which it operates. Seed aims to create conversation and awareness around the history, science and culture of cannabis. Responsibilities Maintain accurate counts of all inventory by performing daily counts and upwardly communicate needed reconciliations Ensure that all product received is properly tagged according to state and local regulations and is accompanied by all necessary paperwork Reconcile inventory with METRC and POS system to ensure that all information is accurately porting to the state system and no malfunctions of the POS and scales are occurring Keep a clean and well-organized vault area that allows for unencumbered access to product, sinks, cleaning areas, and inventory desk Maintain all delivery records and invoices according to the methods prescribed by the General Manager and state regulations May be required to cover for junior members of the team Training of newly hired staff and retraining if needed Actively keeping staff informed of new or edited regulations by the CCC 3+ years of inventory management and/or fulfillment experience preferred Ability to manage complex issues in a fast-paced environment Local applicants preferred Minimum of a high school degree required Outstanding communication both verbally and by communication methods used by the company (e.g Microsoft Suite) Experience Ability to communicate with a diverse group Excellent organizational skills Reliable, professional, and ethical Positive attitude and proactive Must have flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
