Inventory Clerk

Job Description

Responsible for performing the physical & administrative tasks involved in the storing, and distributing of materials, parts, and supplies. The inventory clerk maintains production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies as well as receiving materials. This position reports directly to the Inventory Manager, and works closely within the procurement team.
Key Responsibilities:
Track, manage, and maintain accurate records of materials and supplies. Receive, unpack, verify, label, sort and stock materials and supplies Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders. Document materials and supplies by recording units delivered, tracking numbers and location of units. Pack and deliver completed assembly kits or point of use (POU) material to designated work cell areas and release to work-in-process (WIP) as required. Remove any excess or unused parts back to appropriate inventory locations. Inspect all incoming shipments for damage, working closely with incoming QC Maintain inventory integrity and perform cycle counts. Qualifications /
Experience :
1-2 years' experience in receiving and/or inventory Attention to detail Proficiency working with computers Experience working in manufacturing preferred Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Ability to complete basic math computations
