An Inventory Associate monitors warehouse inventory and places orders with vendors for supplies. Conducts regular or occasional audits of inventory or sections of a warehouse.
Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-6:00 PM Job Summary We are looking for an Inventory Associate to support accurate inventory control and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and have the ability to safely handle and organize heavy materials. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, scan, count, and organize inventory accurately. Use handheld/TC scanners to track inventory and update warehouse records. Verify item numbers, quantities, and locations against inventory documentation. Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or missing items. Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure materials are stored in the correct locations. Assist with organizing and moving warehouse materials as required. Safely handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs independently and team lift heavier materials. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures and standard operating procedures. Communicate inventory issues and discrepancies to supervisors or management. Perform other inventory-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous warehouse, inventory, receiving, or material-handling experience preferred. Minimum 6 months of stand-up forklift experience required. Ability to read and understand English. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable using handheld scanners and basic warehouse technology. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift. Strong attendance and reliability are essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Frequent standing and walking throughout the warehouse. Regular lifting, carrying, bending, and reaching. Ability to safely handle materials that may weigh up to 50 lbs. Team lifting required for heavier materials. Dress Code & PPE Steel-toe work boots are required. Jeans with no holes. Neat and clean T-shirt with no profanity or offensive images. No leggings, muscle shirts, or gym clothing. No jewelry. Safety goggles, safety vests, gloves, and other required PPE will be provided onsite.
