Description Job Summary:
The Inventory Clerk will support the Inventory Manager and General Manager in maintaining accurate and compliant inventory records. This role involves detailed data entry, verifying product information (including THC levels, terpene content, and expiration dates), and ensuring all inventory is properly tracked within METRC and POS systems. The position also includes daily operational tasks such as cycle counts, stock replenishment, and maintaining organized inventory areas. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate inventory using METRC in compliance with regulations Perform daily inventory audits and cycle counts, resolve discrepancies Receive and verify deliveries against invoices and manifests Maintain proper chain of custody for all products Organize and store inventory using FIFO method and monitor expiration dates Transfer inventory between storage and sales floor with accurate tracking Restock and maintain sales floor displays Assist with product merchandising and labeling Fulfill in-store and online orders accurately and efficiently Ensure alignment between POS system and physical inventory Verify Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for product compliance Manage damaged, quarantined, or recalled inventory Support audits and maintain compliance documentation Maintain cleanliness and organization of inventory and storage areas Assist with opening/closing duties and general store operations
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Basic data entry and computer proficiency Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Previous inventory or retail experience preferred Experience with METRC or POS systems is a plus
