Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused individual to support our plastics injection molding manufacturing operation. This individual will work as Shipping/Receiving Clerk, Inventory Control Clerk and Material Handler. These three roles require a high level of accuracy and timeliness to ensure our customers expectations are achieved. This individual needs to demonstrate flexibility, attention to detail, multi-tasking ability, and strong teamwork. Key Responsibilities Shipping & Receiving Clerk
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Unload, sort, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Prepare, package, and ship customer orders accurately and on time.
- Generate shipping labels and process shipments using carrier systems (UPS, FedEx, LTL, etc.).
- Investigate and report discrepancies, shortages, damages, or incorrect shipments.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (if certified).
- Ensure warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Follow company safety procedures and comply with all applicable regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and other warehouse duties as assigned. Inventory Control Clerk
- Maintain accurate inventory records and transactions within the inventory management system.
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and overages.
- Process inventory adjustments and maintain supporting documentation.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
- Generate inventory reports and analyze inventory trends.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory control procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency. Material Handler
- Deliver plastic resin, colorants, regrind, and packaging materials to production cells.
- Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Monitor production material levels and replenish supplies as needed.
- Remove finished goods from production areas and transport them to designated storage locations.
- Assist with material changes and machine changeovers.
- Verify inventory transactions and maintain accurate material records.
- Stage materials according to production schedules and customer requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in warehouse and production areas.
