Job Description
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Full-Time Cycle Counter to join our warehouse team. This role is essential in maintaining accurate inventory levels, supporting supply chain operations, and ensuring seamless warehouse distribution processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and experience in inventory control. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to process improvement initiatives within a dynamic supply chain environment. This position will assist the Lead Cycle Counter with managing daily cycle counting tasks and the cycle counting team. Duties Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory across various warehouse locations to ensure accuracy and integrity of stock data. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) via computer or tablet. Handle materials movement, including heavy lifting when necessary, and ensure compliance with safety standards during materials handling. Assist with transitioning warehouse locations to barcoded scan to pick and scannable movement of inventory with placement of barcoded labels specific to the products that are being counted and the locations that are identified. Requirements Capable of heavy lifting when required; comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to analyze large datasets for insights. Strong communication skills for collaboration across departments including purchasing, production planning, and shipping & receiving teams. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about supply chain optimization and inventory accuracy who are looking to grow their expertise within a collaborative team environment.
