Customer Liaison, 3rdShift Schedule:
(Overnight) 10:30 pm - 6:00 am CST Summary The Customer Liaison will support and interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about operations and services. This role will be located at our customer's plant in Wentzville, MO. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Act as the primary on-site contact for Materials personnel Communicate with Customer, TVS, and vendor associates to ensure adequate parts inventory is maintainedKeeping accurate records of discussions and correspondence with customersPerforming detailed inventory functions and communicating findings to TVS and Materials departmentsAnalyzing statistics or other data to determine the level of customer service the organization is providingProducing written information for customers, often involving the use of computer packages/softwareWriting reports analyzing the customer service that your organization providesFollow proper alarm processes when inventory issues are identifiedDeveloping feedback or complaints procedures for customers to useProviding help and advice to customers using your organizations products or servicesCommunicating courteously with customers by telephone, email, letter, and face-to-faceInvestigating and solving customers problems, which may be complex or long-standing problemsHandling customer complaints or any major incidentsPerform special projects, duties, and responsibilities assigned by the manager Competencies Communication proficiencyTechnical capacityStrong team mentality Interpersonal and motivational skills, Analytical and problem-solving skillsAdaptability Attention to detailDelegationCustomer ServiceInitiative Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The associate is occasionally required to sit or stand, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may occasionally be required to lift 51 pounds, anything greater than 51 pounds requires assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment This job is performed in a busy warehouse environment with high forklift traffic. Warehouses are subject to seasonal temperatures. Safety glasses and vests are required for personal protective equipment (PPE). Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Full-Time, Exempt. Schedule flexibility for extended or unplanned work hours is required. 3rd shift position. Travel Limited local travel between the customer plant and the TVS SCS site. Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent, Associate or bachelors degree, preferredExperience working in a warehouse and/or working in a JIT (Just-In-Time Inventory) environmentAbility to use mathematical equations to compute productivity reportsKnowledge of OSHA standards and a proven safety recordKnowledge of ISO quality systemsAbility to operate package handling equipment Computer skills and operational knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)Working knowledge in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)Ability to work in stressful environments and effectively resolve conflict Other Duties Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this job.
