Job Description
Supply Clerk - 01024610 Description Hourly pay: $24.00 - $25.00 The Storeroom Clerk is an hourly non-exempt position reporting to the Buyer/Material Manager. This role is responsible for processing receipts, issuing parts, accepting deliveries, processing outgoing shipments, working with vendor managed inventories and suppliers, managing storeroom housekeeping projects, maintaining cyclical and bulk inventories. The clerk is also responsible for storeroom audits to ensure inventory count compliance, maintaining relationships with suppliers and maintaining good customer service such as finding parts and problem resolutions etc. As the Storeroom Clerk you will need to : Demonstrate strong performance in safety, attendance, involvement, attitude, productivity, learning/development Demonstrate advanced computer skills to include knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Demonstrate excellent communication skills, customer service, strong organization skills, and attention to detail Demonstrate management of inventory control/auditing Demonstrate ability to create and maintain detailed records, document hazardous conditions and ensure remedial action is taken Demonstrate working knowledge of parts and equipment (preferred) Qualifications High School diploma or GED required College degree in related field- preferred Excel and SAP (or other parts management system) experience preferred. Previous Storeroom and/or Warehouse experience preferred Valid driver's license required Ability to obtain forklift certification and operate a forklift required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a routine basis Ability to work flexible hours to include overtime, weekends and holidays should operating conditions require About Wood Products We've been delivering quality building products and solutions to our customers for more than 100 years.
