Inventory Control Clerk Location:

Asheboro, NC Full-Time About the Position Matlab, Inc. is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Clerk to help keep our inventory accurate, organized, and moving smoothly. This is a hands-on position for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, and knows how important accurate inventory is to daily operations. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of inventory control and be comfortable working with inventory records and computer systems. What You'll Do Maintain accurate inventory records and make inventory adjustments as needed Monitor inventory levels and help identify shortages, excess inventory, or discrepancies Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies Receive, identify, label, and organize materials Track movement of materials throughout the facility Work closely with Purchasing, Production, Shipping, and other departments Enter and maintain inventory information in the company's computer system Help keep inventory areas clean, organized, and properly labeled Follow company safety and quality procedures Assist with other inventory and warehouse-related duties as needed What We're Looking For 3-5 years of inventory control experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and problem-solving skills Comfortable using computers and inventory/ERP systems Ability to identify and investigate discrepancies Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and stay organized Manufacturing experience preferred Ability to lift and move materials as needed Why Matlab?
