Supports the production and warehouse operations of the Carton Division by ensuring accurate receiving, barcoding, storage, and delivery of raw materials and supplies. This position is responsible for maintaining material flow from receipt through production, including operating a roll grab forklift and other material-handling equipment, checking in miscellaneous products, and keeping warehouse inventory organized and accurate. Minimum Requirements Ability to read, write, and perform basic math at a high-school level or equivalent. Strong comprehension of written procedures, job jackets, and production documentation. Basic computer skills for inventory entry, barcode scanning, and data verification. Accurate vision (corrected if necessary) for inspection, bar coding, and safe equipment operation. Commitment to forklift safety procedures and adherence to all site safety policies. Strong organizational skills with the ability to keep inventory and storage areas orderly. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Receiving & Inspection Receive and check in all substrate materials, verifying shipment accuracy against purchase orders. Inspect incoming materials for damage, quality defects, or inconsistencies. Apply barcodes to each roll or item received for inventory tracking and traceability. Check in miscellaneous goods and match them with purchase orders to ensure accuracy. Inventory Management Physically and digitally move materials throughout the warehouse using the inventory management system. Maintain accurate and organized warehouse storage, labeling, and stock rotation. Keep inventory areas neat, clean, and compliant with quality and safety standards. Weigh and prepare dies for outgoing shipments for re-tooling as needed. Production Support Retrieve materials from storage and deliver them to the presses based on the daily production schedule. Communicate with press operators and supervisors to ensure timely material availability. Assist with material returns, scrap handling, and inventory adjustments. General Responsibilities Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times. Conform to all quality assurance procedures and documentation requirements. Perform additional tasks or duties as assigned by management. Ability to work overtime as required based on production needs. Typical Physical Demands Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly. Frequent use of hands and arms for gripping, lifting, bending, and maneuvering materials. Ability to reach, stretch, and turn to inspect inventory and move products. Ability to operate various forklift types and obtain/maintain forklift certification. Ability to push or pull loaded pallet jacks weighing between 300-500 lbs.
