Job Description

Nissan of Elizabeth City has an immediate opening for a DMV Title & Inventory Clerk. We offer a great work environment where team members are appreciated and rewarded. We offer excellent pay, full benefits, just 30 minutes south of downtown Norfolk, VA. We are just a short drive from most parts of Hampton Roads, VA. Must be able to work 36-40 hours per week M-F Must have retail automotive DMV experience, resumes without this experience will not be considered Weekly pay, Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD insurance offered, employee discounts, and referral bonuses. Duties Process automotive titles accurately, ensuring compliance with state laws Manage the entire title workflow, from data entry to final documentation, maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail and maintain related accounting schedules. Process trade-in payoff, track vehicle titles and related paperwork and maintain related accounting schedules. Communicate effectively with staff via phone, email, and in-person to facilitate title processing and any issues resolve issues. Input all New and Preowned Inventory into DMS and maintain related accounting schedules. Process Dealer Trades and maintain related accounting schedules. Handle retail sales paperwork processing, including licensing, registration, and other related legal documentation Utilize software such as Microsoft Office Suite and DealerTrack DMS Skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment Excellent communication skills Knowledge of automotive repair processes, dealership operations, and retail sales principles Proficiency in automotive sales paperwork processing, accounting practices, and inventory management systems Familiarity with state regulations and title processing procedures for local sales and out of state sales Exceptional customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and public speaking abilities Administrative experience supporting high-end sales environments or retail settings is highly valued
