The Cycle Counter will maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting, processing of material reports and transfers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Cycle count materials based on the "ABC" grouping system which will be monitored by the Inventory Control Lead. Interpret and apply specifications such as drawings, schematics, ladder logic etc. Report accuracy, on-time completion Research inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and in location reports Assist in determining root causes on inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive errors Follow all safety rules and regulations Drive warehouse equipment Maintain a clean and organized work area Must possess excellent communication skills Perform multi-tasks functions with accuracy. Supervision received under general direction when defined objectives are established Any other task or projects may be assigned by Supervisor or Manager
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High School Diploma or GED Experience:
1-3 years' experience in an office environment with full range of data entry responsibilities in an inventory/scheduling capacity.
Required Skills:
Ability to provide proper count of parts and inventory within warehouse and production lines Proficient in use of Excel, word processing and PC applications Basic Math Skills Requires regular processing of inventory data Must successfully qualify as a licensed forklift, powered equipment operator, meeting required vision standards Ability to work at heights up to and including 35 feet while safely tethered to a forklift Working knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office Both internal and external contacts require tact and discretion to achieve cooperation in accomplishing objectives. Certified to drive warehouse equipment Proven ability to work independently. Arranges a significant position of own work referring only unusual cases to supervision. Must be able to travel to other Warehouses Cumberland and Ivan Must be able to work non- standard hours
